Katie Parla Rome Part One

October 12, 2013 by Judy Lyness 7 Comments

In April I had the wonderful opportunity to meet Katie Parla of the blog Parla Food.  If you haven’t checked out her site you should.  To write about the experience is one thing, to actually see and hear Katie is quite another.

So here in what I hope to be the first of many videos, is Katie Parla Part One.

We first met Katie Parla through ContextRome where she conducted tours. We loved her and have followed her since 2006. Her advice is stellar. We have found the best restaurants, the best gelato and the best markets in Rome thanks to Katie. It was great to see her article in the most recent issue of Bon Appetite.

I wish I had had more time before we went to Rome last year to find resources like these. I feel like I should go back (in the spring or fall!) and experience the wonderful things I missed. I do, however, recognize Open Baladin, one of our favorite bars.

Wonderful video, love the feel of it. Great job!
